The healthcare agencies worldwide have shown great concerns about the alarming rise of antibiotic resistance pathogens all over mainly due to obnoxious misuse of antibiotics. On the similar lines, our vision is to empower healthcare providers across the world to make more informed advanced decisions about blood bacterial infection and prescribe targeted antibiotics.
We have developed an affordable, point-of-care, rapid diagnostic platform technology SiMED- Spot ImmunoMagnetic Enrichment Device, for rapid detection of bacterial infection along with Gram profiling of bacteria in the blood sample. This information is very helpful in making a targeted antibiotics treatment decision. SiMED device is self-sufficient in its own and omits the requirement of high infrastructure and trained microbiologist. This sophisticated technology is capable of detecting pathogens if the load in the blood sample is in the range of 1-10 CFU/ml. Through this product, our dream is to provide sustainable and quality healthcare solutions to all patients despite their geographical location or financial situation.
