In December 2018, the Longitude Prize team travelled to Mumbai, India, where we awarded three competing teams with Boost Grants up to £100,000 sponsored by BIRAC, the Biotechnology Industry Research Assistance Council.
We caught up with Penny Wilson, Longitude Prize Judge and Senior Specialist in AMR, Vaccines and Global Health at Innovate UK, to discuss the programme, the grant winners and whether an Indian team might win the Longitude Prize.
