At the end of 2015 we held our last competitor event of 2015 in Tokyo and a Japanese team is now in the race.
Walgreens Boots Alliance is looking to collaborate with a diagnostics partner to further develop an entry to the prize.

Super bugs and the social responsibility

In a report published today, Jim O'Neill's Review on Antimicrobial Resistance provides an overview of the use of antibiotics in animals and agriculture, and the role that manufacturing and use of antimicrobials play in bringing these into the wider environment.
As we celebrate one year since the Prize launched, the race is still on to find a diagnostic tool to help curb resistance to antibiotics.
