About this entry

The University of Delhi South Campus - AMR Team include qualified microbiologists, biotechnologists and bioinformatists. The team is currently involved in understanding the prevalence of AMR to beta-lactam antibiotics in India and comparative genomics approach to identify newer targets to inhibit beta-lactamases and inhibitor-resistant beta-lactamases.The team has also developed CBMAR - a comprehensive beta-lactamase molecular annotation resource for prospective investigators in this area of research. The team is also initiating work on the whole genome sequencing (WGS) approach to identify AMR and virulence profiles of pathogenic bacteria.Recent publications: 1.
